Vivo has launched the V17 Pro smartphone with the dual-front Pop-up cameras, after so many leaks. Before telling you anything, let me tell you one thing here that this phone is launched only for the selfie purpose. Midnight ocean and glacier colors are revealed by the company.

The 3.5mm jack is available in this phone but there is no support of Dolby Atmos. The Optical fingerprint sensor is used under the display. Vivo V17 Pro full specifications and features
This phone has a 6.44 inches full-view FHD+ display with the Super-AMOLED display panel. The display resolution is 1080×2400 Pixels and the aspect ratio is 20:9. The fingerprint sensor is placed under the display, and nothing is used to protect the display like the Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The pixel density is 409 and screen to body ratio of this phone is 91.65%, which is good.
The phone runs on the Android 9 Pie with FunTouch 9.1 OS. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Octa-core processor is used for the decent performance with the max clock speed of this SoC is 2 GHz. For the gamers, you will get Adreno 612 GPU. The RAM is 8 GB and internal storage is 128 GB. (This SoC doesn’t look good at this pricing).
The company has used a total of six cameras, I mean 2 on the front side and 4 on the rear side. The 48+8+13+2 MP rear cameras are used at the backside. The 48 MP is the main sensor and it comes with f/1.8 aperture and this is a Sony IMX 582 Sensor.
The 8 MP is the ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, the 2 MP will measure the depth with f/2.4 and 13 MP telephoto sensor will capture the telephoto shots with its 2x optical zoom. This phone is capable to record 4K Videos with 30 Frames per second. This phone doesn’t support OIS, which is unexpectable.
I have already told you that this phone has a dual-camera setup on the front side with the Pop-up mechanism. The 32+8 MP front cameras are available on the front side, the 32 MP is the main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 8 MP will capture the ultra-wide shots with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is capable to record 1080P videos.

Is the new Vivo phone good to buy?
The phone has a decent display with a higher screen to body ratio. This is a Super-AMOLED display with a higher resolution. You will surely love this display but the company has not used in Corning Gorilla Glass protection, which can be said a drawback.
The processors are not acceptable at this pricing and you can better way better processors than this one. The RAM is decent but internal storage is just average for this pricing.
I accept the availability of quad-camera setup on the rear side, but these are the average cameras and you should not compare this phone’s camera with the other phones. No OIS and 60 FPS are also the drawbacks. The dual-camera on the front side with Pop-up mechanism looks cool. They have added an ultra-wide-angle shot and there is nothing special.
the phone’s specifications and pricing are not impressive because of the overpricing. This phone is not acceptable at this pricing and you should ignore this phone. I am giving the kick to this one and you can consider the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro, OnePlus 7, Samsung Galaxy A50s, etc.
